Volunteer

A Little Time Can Make a Big Difference

You don’t have to make a huge commitment to make a difference in your community.

Sometimes volunteering means delivering a meal to a neighbor. Sometimes it’s spending an afternoon helping at an event, writing about what’s happening around town, lending a professional skill to a nonprofit, or simply showing up when an extra pair of hands is needed.

Every contribution matters.

Bedford is home to organizations doing important work every day, and many of them depend on volunteers to make that work possible. Matchgirl Productions wants to make it easier for residents to discover those opportunities and find ways to contribute that fit their interests, skills, and schedules.

There’s More Than One Way to Volunteer

Volunteering doesn’t have to mean committing several hours every week.

Some organizations need regular volunteers. Others may need help for a single event, a special project, or just a few hours from someone with a particular skill.

Whether you have an hour, an afternoon, or time to give on a regular basis, there may be a place where your help can make a difference.

And volunteering isn’t only about giving. It’s also an opportunity to meet your neighbors, learn something new, share your talents, and become more connected to the community you call home.

Find Your Way to Help

Matchgirl Productions works with local organizations and community initiatives that rely on volunteers, and we’re continually looking for new ways to connect Bedford residents with opportunities to get involved.
